Ali Baba blasts Instagram user for criticizing Dangote daughter's lavish wedding

Ace comedian Ali Baba spared no words in reply to an Instagram user who lampooned the lavish wedding of the daughter of Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote.

The Instagram user @iamkay_dee had criticised the society wedding when he took to his social media account saying Bill gates won’t spend so much to stage such a big wedding.

“Bill Gates who has spent billions of dollars for immunisation in Northern Nigeria will not do this lavish wedding but here is a northern billionaire and guys will not talk because your criticism is selective #NigeriaCelebrities&Hypocrisy,” @iamkay_dee wrote on his Instagram page.

Ali Baba who could not belly the scathing remarks by @iamkay_dee especially as it concerns Nigerian celebrities fired back at the Instagram user.

He wrote; “You can see how Nigerians are? When someone spends to develop the society, even moments he wants to spend on his family, he will be questioned.

“When Aliko donated a whole Department of Business Administration, this guy didn’t notice. When he was engaged in charity works across the country, this one didn’t notice…

“But just to give his daughter a befitting wedding that was practically funded by goodwill of friends and associates is now being compared to what he could have done with the money. Isn’t that how we all are? And now it is a matter of #NigerianCelebrities&Hypocrisy,” Ali Baba added.
