Aisha attacks Buhar's N500bn SIP, says it failed woefully

Wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha, has responded to the claim by Senator Isah Misau that the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris, fraudulently purchased two Sports Utility Vehicles for her.

In a terse reply which she posted on her twitter handle on Thursday, the First Lady said, “I am using my personal car.”
Misau, who had heaped several allegations of corruption on the IGP had, when he appeared before the Senate Ad Hoc Committee investigating the allegations, added that the IGP also bought two SUVs for Mrs. Buhari. These expenses Misau claimed, were not budgeted.

“I still have some contract papers that the IG himself submitted to the court, where the First Lady through her aide-de-camp requested a Toyota Hiace and a Sienna jeep. The same day that the ADC wrote, the IG minuted that she should be given two jeeps. And it is not part of the appropriation. If you look at the appropriation, there is nowhere they said the First Lady should be given two jeeps,” Misau had told the committee.

But Aisha, in her response, only said that she is using her own cars

The corruption in this administration is not as bad as how it is being addressed, but the fact that Buhari’s government is victimizing previous government, Nigerians will not forgive any of his official actions of any little corruption

Aisha should have collected the First Lady office instead of making us all feel she’s not interested in the goodies of politics.
