Ambode orders execution of Rev King, others on death row

Lagos State Governor Akinwumi Ambode has ordered the execution of all inmates in the state prison on death row.

Among those to be executed is the General-Overseer of the Christian Praying Assembly, Chukwuemeka Ezeugo, popularly referred to as Rev. King.

This was disclosed on Tuesday by Lagos State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Adeniji Kazeem, during a news conference in Lagos.

He said, “Very soon, you will see the action of this government on that issues, we are reviewing the case on Rev. King and others on death row. Lots of people are on death row, Rev. King is not the only one on death row, it is on the instruction of Ambode that I visited the prisons recently and I discuss the issue with the prison officials and they expressed their concerns.

“We are moving in that direction of signing. The prison officials said we need to look at that seriously. Those on death row are beginning to think they have some rights. We are going to move in that direction, you will hear from me, but I will not tell you the exact date.”

A Supreme Court judgement on February 27, 2016 sanctioned the death sentence passed on RevKing by the Appeal Court.

Rev King was on September 2006 arraigned before the Lagos High Court in Ikeja on six counts of murder of his church member, Ann Uzoh as well as attempted murder of five other members.

He was accused of pouring petrol on the deceased and the five other victims and set them on fire for supposedly committing fornication.

On August 2, 2006, 11 days after the incident, Uzo died following effects of injuries she sustained from the burns.

Sure. Anti Christ are here already and these pastors are well known to us. People like Rev. King, oyakilome, T. B JOSHUA, okotie amongst other as well Suleiman are questionable men of GOD.

Evil men of God like Rev King don’t deserve to be among the living, that was how on earth raped a female member in front of his alter in order to wash away her sins. I will to watch REV King die

There’s nothing like evil men of God, it is either men of God or men of devil. Only men of devil are evil not those who are called by God. So please regard rev king and others behaving like him as men of devil.
