Ambode reflects, says, ‘I used to see myself as a technocrat in politics but I’m wiser now’

In what seems to be his last visit to Aso Rock, outgoing Governor Akinwumi Ambode of Lagos State on Monday described himself as a wiser man in politics.

The governor who lost his second term bid will complete his four-year tenure few weeks from now.

Ambode paid what has been termed ‘’Thank you” visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential villa on Abuja on Monday.

While recounting his experience at the helm of affairs in Lagos State, the governor said, “You see, every politician learns every day.

“The fact remains that I came in as a technocrat, so I used to call myself a techno-politician. But I think I am wiser now.

“I am more of a politician than a technocrat.”
