Amodu’s family rebuffs Edo govt on burial plans
Latest report from Edo state reveal that late Shuaibu Amodu’s family has kicked against plans by the Edo state Government to move his burial by few days to enable him get a befitting state burial.
> “What did they do for him while he was still living? Make dem go Sidon jare”, said a relative.
> Meanwhile, Amodu’s remains is on its way from Stella Obasanjo Hospital, Benin City to Okpella, Etsako East LGA for burial according to Muslim rites.
> But negotiations are still on between the state Government officials and the Amodu family.
