Belgian topflight side, Anderlecht, have expressed their delight over the full return of Nigeria forward, Henry Onyekuru, from injury after the Nigeria forward featured in a game on Tuesday night.
The 20-year old played for 30minutes in what was his first competitive game since last December, having been sidelined by injury.
Anderlecht won the Pro League game 4-1 against Lokeren to win the reserves league title.
The club, on Wednesday, then took to Twitter announce with delight that Onyekuru and his teamamate Andy Najar are back in training with the first team squad.
“After winning the title with the reserves yesterday evening, @Andy_Najar1993 & @henryconyekuru are training hard with the first team today! 👌 Glad to have you back boys!,” the club tweeted alongside a video of Onyekuru training with his colleagues.
Onyekuru is on loan at Anderlecht from Premier League club Everton.
Following his return from injury, he started light training with the club last month and will hope to get more game time before the end of the season.
The Super Eagles star, who has nine goals to his name in the Jupiler Pro League for Anderlecht, will hope to be fully fit to make Nigeria’s Russia 2018 World Cup squad.
