Angry fans invade pitch after Ghana lose to Angola in Kumasi
Angry Ghanaian fans expressed their anger after the national team were beaten 1-0 by Angola in a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier on Thursday.
The fans invaded the pitch of the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi as the Black Stars began their qualifying campaign with a disappointing home loss in Group F.
Felicio Milson emerged as the hero for Angola, as he bagged a dramatic 93rd-minute goal to secure the win for the visitors.
Milson tapped the ball into an empty net after Abdul Mumin failed to properly clear a low cross from the right.

The defeat for Ghana was the first time they are losing a game in the Kumasi stadium in 24 years.
The last time they did was in the AFCON 2000 quarter-final clash against South Africa who triumphed 1-0.
Following the disappointing loss to the Angolans, angry fans ran on to the pitch throwing bottles and other items, although the players already left the pitch.
Otto Addo’s Black Stars will hope to bounce back when they play against Niger on Monday, September 9th.
