Another victim narrates how Pastor Fatoyinbo allegedly raped her (Video)

Another yet-to-be identified victim buoyed by the shocking revelations of Ese Walter and Busola Dakolo, has come out of her closet to recount how Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Abiodun Fatoyinbo, also allegedly took advantage of her in a rape incident.

In a censored interview conducted by YNaija, the victim informed that the alleged rape happened in the last quarter of 2017.

According to the victim who joined the church in 2009 and started working as a fringe member at COZA in Abuja, in 2013, she became close to the Fatoyinbo’s when the Pastor’s wife, Modele, in 2015, took interest in her, and began to extend opportunities to work intimately with her, handing her small responsibilities in the church’s administration before graduating into the opportunity to care for her children.

The victim said she later got closer to the children to the point where Modele offered to relocate her outside the country and become a legal guardian for her children as the Fatoyinbos toyed with the idea of sending their children abroad for their education.

In the video interview, the victim said, unknown to her, relocating to another country with the Fatoyinbos and working for their organization put her entirely under their mercy which eventually led to her exploitation and alleged rape.

Recounting her ordeal, the victim said the incident happened when Pastor Fatoyinbo had come into the country where she lived working for a COZA branch and serving as an au pair for the Fatoyinbos.

She said she was surprised when the incident happened because she had spent many hours in close proximity to the pastor in the past, sometimes in her capacity as an au pair.

The victim said their meeting on the day started innocently enough as Pastor Fatoyinbo talked about something to do with church, but she added that things moved pretty swiftly from there as the clergy moved swiftly, trying to pull her into a hug and kiss her.

She remembers thinking to herself, “I had known him, not only as a mentor but as a spiritual leader. I’ve heard him preach, I’ve heard him talk about God; and there I was, about to witness him do the complete opposite of what he stood for.”

The victim said she kept asking him to stop, appealing to his conscience as her spiritual father, but he didn’t listen as he undid the buttons of her jeans, took off her trousers and went ahead to take advantage of her.

She said she was stunned by the act of the Pastor and according to her, he was nothing like the charismatic, thoughtful and empathetic leader, who took his time to ensure she felt comfortable around him.

According to the victim, this person was feral, focused in his attempt to subdue her and after committing the act, he switched seamlessly back into the pastor she knew, apologizing as though he wasn’t the one who had inflicted pain on her.

The latest confession comes after the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) said that to the best of their knowledge the Pastor Fatoyinbo is not a member of the families that belong to CAN.
