The Governor of Jigawa State, Muhammad Badaru, says the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), remains the messiah for Nigerians and the party to beat in the country.

Badaru who made this assertion on Tuesday at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja while revalidating his membership of the party, said with the “progressive ideologies brought about over the last six years of the governance of the APC both at the Federal Government and at the states, Nigerians were highly convinced that the party is the Messiah they have been waiting for.”

Badaru who had earlier validated his membership registration at Kofar Arewa polling unit in his home town, Babura local government area of the state when he kicked off the exercise on Saturday, said the party’s developmental strides and programmes have endeared it to Nigerians who will surely vote massively for it in 2023.

“Today, our party is a party to beat in the context of Nigerian political parties’ hierarchy. The APC is the messiah Nigerians have been waiting for and as you can see, our developmental strides are second to none and I am sure Nigerians will vote for us massively in 2023 and beyond,” he said while interacting with newsmen after the revalidation exercise.
