APC, PDP rake in N181.5m from Ekiti guber aspirants

The All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have raked in the sum of N181.5 million for selling forms to governorship aspirants in Ekiti State.

The Ekiti State governorship election holds on July 24, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) timetable.

There were 33 aspirants that collected the Ekiti governorship forms in APC, while only three collected in the PDP. Among the 33 aspirants from APC, three of them were female and did not pay for the forms.

While the APC made N165 million from the 30 male aspirants, the PDP made N16.5 million from the sales of Nomination and Expression of Interest forms of the parties sold for N5.5 million to each aspirant.
