The All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to close down some major roads in the Lagos metropolis as it holds a mass street rally in the state, Saturday.

The rally is being organized by the Muhammadu Buhari/Yemi Osinbajo Campaign Organization and is expected to kick off from Maryland, along Ikorodu Road through Funsho Williams Avenue and will terminate at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere.

According to the State Commissioner for Transportation, Kayode Opeifa, sections of the road will be closed from 8am to 2pm to allow ease of access for the participants.

“Motorists are advised to use the service lanes of Ikorodu Road and Funso Williams Avenue, Agege Motor Road or Third Mainland Bridge,” the ministry added.

The Commissioner also added that 200 LASTMA personnel would be deployed to manage traffic during the rally.
