Apo Six: Police Commission reinstates DCP Danjuma

Published

on

Reprieve may have come the way of a suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Mr. Ibrahim Danjuma, as indications emerged yesterday of his reinstatement into the Police.

Saturday Telegraph gathered from highly-placed sources, that Danjuma was reinstated by the Police Service Commission (PSC), upon recommendation by the force headquarters.

It would be recalled that Danjuma was among the six police officers that were prosecuted over their alleged involvement in the killing of five traders as well as a female victim in the Federal Capital Territory (Apo Six).

Speaking to Saturday Telegraph on the reinstatement, one of the sources, who spoke in confidence, said having been cleared, it was only fair that he (Danjuma) be reinstated.
