Arsenal defeated Chelsea 3-1 in a Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night to keep pressure on Manchester City.

With the win, the Gunners climb back to top spot, leading second-placed City with two points although they have two games in hand.

For Chelsea, the season can’t end quickly enough for them, as they have picked up six losses in six games with Frank Lampard in charge since replacing Graham Potter.

Two goals from Martin Odegaard and one from Gabriel Jesus gave Arsenal a 3-0 lead inside 34 minutes.

Noni Madueke then pulled one back for Chelsea in the second half to make the scoreline a bit more respectable.

Arsenal will remain top of the league until at least Wednesday when Manchester city face West Ham at the Etihad Stadium. If the hosts win, they reclaim top spot.
