Arsenal legend Nwankwo Kanu pays tribute to Wenger

Super Eagles legend, Nwankwo Kanu says it will be difficult to find a worthy replacement for Arsene Wenger after the Arsenal boss announced that he will be leaving the club at the end of the season.

Wenger’s current contract is due to expire in 2019, but the Frenchman announced his decision to leave on Friday which has attracted many reactions.

Although the Gunners are set to miss out on a top-four spot for the second straight season in the Premier League, they have hope of playing in the Champions League next season if they win the Europa league.

In a Twitter message hours after the announcement, Kanu, who won two Premier League title and two FA Cups during his time at the Emirates club, said Wenger’s shoes are too big for anyone to fill.
