Devar Hurd the man convicted for stalking R&B singer Ashanti may walk out of jail anytime soon.

Earlier this month, Hurd was found guilty of felony 2nd degree stalking after sending several X-rated tweets to Ashanti and her sister and even texted an X-rated pic of himself to her mom.

Though the young man got 16 months to 4 years’ time in prison but the dude has already been jailed for 32 months for violating a restraining order.

The young man who was previously arrested in 2009 for stalking Ashanti could get credit for the time spent in jail but if the Department of Corrections decide otherwise, Hurd will stay in jail for the difference.

Under the new terms of Hurd’s restraining order, he can’t contact Ashanti, her mother and sister when he is eventually released from prison.
