Atiku buys into Jonathan’s dictum, says his ambition not worth blood of any Nigerian

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, on Wednesday declared that his quest to become the next president of Nigeria is not worth the life of any Nigerian.

He stated this during the signing of the National Peace Accord among the presidential candidates of different political parties at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.

The statement remains one for which many Nigerians have continued to remember and respect former President Goodluck Jonathan for.

Atiku making reference to that statement, which Jonathan made in the run during the 2015 presidential election campaigns, aligned himself with it while stressing the importance of credible elections.
