Amid speculations that all may not be well between him and the APC, former vice president, Atiku Abubarkar has denied that he is contemplating going back to the PDP.

On why he has not been attending the campaign programmes of the APC presidential candidate, Gen.Muhammadu Buhari, he said he was not being invited.

Atiku, in an interview with BBC Hausa, on Friday, said he would not attend the campaign if not invited. The former vice president was an aspirant in the presidential primaries in which Buhari emerged as winner.

He said, “There are minor irregularities in connection with the system being followed by the campaign team of General Buhari but we are trying to correct it. They need to check the strategy they are adopting.

Atiku said he had informed the director of the Buhari Campaign Organisation, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, about the issue. “I told him that if he did not invite me, I will not go,” he added.
