Spanish League giants, Atletico Madrid have officially unveiled Diego Costa as the club’s player and handed him the number 18 jersey.

The 29-year old returned to the La Liga club for a reported £45m after leaving Premier League champions, Chelsea, at the end of last season.

Atletico had since then paid for the services of the Spaniard but could not feature him in matches because of a FIFA transfer ban on the club which expires today, December 31.

”I want to thank the club for all the hard work they did to be able to bring me back,” he said at the unveiling ceremony. “From the heart, thank you.”
