Gabon striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a second-half equaliser to earn a point for Arsenal in a Boxing Day Premier League clash at Bournemouth.

The goal was Aubameyang’s 12th league goal of the season, which came in the 63rd minute – after Dan Gosling had given the hosts the lead from close range in the 35th.

The Gunners have won just one of their last 11 league games, and new manager Mikel Arteta surely has work to do after leading his side to draw.

At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea were stunned 2-0 by struggling Bournemouth.

The Blues, who were beaten at home before last weekend’s victory over Spurs, have now lost consecutive home league games for the first time since 2011.

Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi was not in action for Everton due to injury, and the Toffees defeated Burnley 1-0 at the Goodison Park.

With the result, new boss, Carlo Ancelotti, who was introduced to the fans at kickoff, made a winning start.

Elsewhere, Aston Villa were victorious at home after sealing a 1-0 win over Norwich City.

In the other Premier League encounters that played concurrently, Crystal Palace secured a 2-1 win over West Ham while Sheffield United drew 1-1 with Watford.

In the latter, Nigeria forward, Isaac Success was an unused substitute.
