Avengers resume attacks, claims five in 3 days

After some moment of inactivity, militant group, the Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, has resumed attacks on oil and gas intallations in the Niger Delta.

The NDA said in series of tweets on Sunday that it carried carried out five different attacks between Friday and Sunday morning.

According to the militant group, it attacked a pipeline connecting Warri Refinery operated by the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC on Friday,  while  on Saturday night, it blew up two lines close to Batan flow station in Delta state run by Nigeria Petroleum Development Company, NPDC, a subsidiary of NNPC.

The Avengers also claimed to have attacked two Chevron facilities close to Abiteye flow station, in Delta state in the early hours on Sunday.

There are yet no official confirmation of the attacks.
