Stand-up comedian AY is of the opinion that those who say he is not a good actor should have a re-think.

The talented humour merchant said he could recall vividly when most people made fun of his first produced movie titled “30 Days in Atlanta” with calls that he is a dry actor dominating the discourse.

But fortune smiled on AY months after the movie was released as it got mentioned in the 2017 Guinness World Records as the highest grossing domestic movie in Bollywood, Nollywood and Hollywood which he says has shamed his critics.

“Ay you are dry” yet my shows are usually sold out… Some even say “Ay you have no business doing movies”…. yet my first ever movie landed me in the Guinness World Records as the highest grossing movie in Nollywood and continent of Africa.

“You need to learn how to ignore what people say or think of you. Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.”
