Abductors of RCCG pastor demand N100m ransom

The three female students of Babington Macauly  Junior Seminary, Ikorodu abducted last week have regained their freedom.
The news was broken Sunday morning by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni. He said the girls were found at Igbokuta area of Ikorodu and that they were all hale and hearty.
One of the apprehended suspects was reported to have said the girls were not molested nor raped. Three suspects are also said to be in police net.
Emerging reports indicate that their release was secured by operatives of the Inspector General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team, IRT, lead by CSP Abba Kyari.
Kyari and his men were said to have infiltrated the gang, and picked up some of their relatives, who gabe up their hideout in Adama Forest in Arepo, Ogun State, off Ikorodu.
No ransom was reported to have been paid for release of the girls, who have been handed over to their parents for care and medical tests.

It was gathered that under intense pressure, the abductors dropped off the girls at Igbokoda bridge in Ikorodu where they were picked up by Owoseni and his men in the early hours of Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has commended the Police, for what he said was their courage in ensuring that the three female students abducted last Monday in their hostels, got a timely rescue.
The state’s Commissioner for Information & Strategy, in a tweet on Sunday, via his Twitter handle, @stevoree said: “The three abducted school girls in Ikorodu have been rescued by the Police. Lagos is working. Governor Akinwunmi Ambode salutes the courage of the Police.”
