Banky W calls out desperate ladies who worry him online for marriage
It is a statement of fact that EME honcho Banky W is one of the most eligible bachelors in the music industry and female fans and admirers are lining up in droves to be Mrs. Wellington while others dream for him to be their man.
But it seems the eligible bachelor has had enough of the requests he gets online from single ladies requesting him to marry them.
Banky W is even miffed by the fact that some go as far as claiming that God has made a revelation to them that he is their husband.
Moments after he shared some desperate messages from certain female admirers on Instagram, the R&B crooner also had some words of advice to such female fans making love advances at him on social media.
“If God tells you that somebody is your husband or wife, let God tell that person too. Don’t be the person to speak for God, let God speak for you. Recently I’ve been getting of lot of people saying “You’re my husband; God said I’m your wife”; It’s a lie because God told me nothing about you. God needs to tell me himself.” He posted.
The ‘Ebute Metta’ crooner also called out people who engage in marriage shaming saying marriage is something that should be done at the right time and with the right person.
“Also can we please stop with the marriage shaming? Please, abeg it’s enough. Single People – The same people who are putting pressure on you to marry will be the same talking about you and mocking you if the marriage fails. Don’t rush for anybody. Do it at the right time with the right person for you and everything will hopefully work out, by God’s grace.”
