Barca downs United for another UCL semi-final

It was a traumatic night for Manchester United on Tuesday, as a brace from Lionel Messi set the tune for Manchester United’s ouster from the 2019 Champions League.

United’s woes started when Messi, who first nicked the ball off the careless Ashley Young and then watched as a weak shot from distance squirmed underneath David de Gea, making it a brace for the night.

Philippe Coutinho made it a third for Barcelona with a curling effort into the top corner, ending the match at 3-0, with an aggregate of 4-0.

Barcelona will be waiting to know its semi-final foe after the second leg match between Liverpool and Porto later tonight.

A win for Barcelona over either Liverpool or Porto will land them into their first UCL final since 2015.
