Bauchi: Abubakar reshuffles cabinet, creates additional ministry
Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar of Bauchi State has effected a cabinet reshuffle redeploying commissioners from their ministries to others and approved the creation of a new ministry.
The cabinet reshuffle was announced through a press release issued Thursday signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Bello Shehu Illelah which stated that the governor approved the reshufflement and the creation of the Ministry of Power, Science and Technology.
According to the statement, Barrister Nasiruddeen Mohammed was moved from the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development to the Ministry for Local Government, Garba Sarki Akuyam was moved from the Ministry of Rural and Community Development to the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development.
