BAUCHI: Gov Mohammed sacks special adviser six weeks after appointment

The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed has sacked his Special Adviser on Political Affairs, Musa Shittu, six weeks after he was appointed and sworn in.

Shittu was appointed in July 2019 alongside four others.

The sack was announced in a statement by the governor’s spokesman, Dr Ladan Salihu, on Friday, adding that his disengagement was with immediate effect.

Though no reason was given for the sack, the governor thanked the former special adviser for his contributions towards the development of the state and wished him success in his future endeavors.
