It’s no crime to leave PDP and return, group cautions Dickson, others over Timi Alaibe

The pair of former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Chief Ndutimi Alaibe, Dr. Chris Osaisai and other unnamed actors have been accused of plotting to cause mayhem ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), primary set for September 3.

The allegations were made by the a group sympathetic to the PDP known as the Association of Concerned Bayelsa Professionals (ACBP), which also claimed that it has it on good authority that the pair were hell bent on creating a non-existent threat of violence to actualise their plot to move the primary election outside Bayelsa contrary to the stipulations of the law.

ACBP in a statement issued by its leader, Chief Jasper Timiebi, said the premeditated violence by the pair seeks to cause instability in the state with the intent to arm- twist the national leadership of the PDP to move the primary to Abuja or the neighbouring Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Timiebi also added that ACBP was concerned about the increasing desperation occasioned by blackmail and the evil plot to unleash mayhem and killings in Bayelsa just to achieve a satanic plot.

He also stressed that the aspirants behind the plot against the state and its people were worried about the influence of Governor Seriake Dickson who had led the Restoration Team of the PDP for almost eight years since 2012.
