BBNaija: Bassey ignores fans, keeps them waiting for hours at eviction party

The latest housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother Naija reality TV show house, Bassey hosted fans, friends, well-wishers and the media to an eviction party at the swanky No Chill Lounge in Lekki, Lagos, last Friday.

Scheduled to kick off at 10pm, the eviction party didn’t come alive until about some minutes past 2:00 am when Bassey and his entourage arrived to the clicking of cameras and exchange of pleasantries on the red carpet at the event venue.

By this time, scores of fans who had turned up in their numbers, filling the nightclub to the brim, to catch a glimpse of their star, had gotten fed up and left. But others were still wondering if Bassey would show up, not until the in-house MC announced his arrival.

For whatever reason, organisers of the event didn’t allow any form of verbal interaction with Bassey from fans or even pressmen who surely have a couple of questions for him about his time in the house.

For their troubles, and have waited several hours, fans were only treated to a photo shoot of Bassey on the red carpet, before he was quickly ushered into the VVIP section of the nightclub where he partied with friends, shutting out fans and pressmen.

Also at the event however, were former #BBNaija housemates, Uriel, Jon Ogah and Miyonse who were all in attendance alongside Kelechi Udegbe and Ifeanyi Williams.
