#BBNAIJA2018: Organisers rake-in N5.1bn as miracle emerges winner

Miracle Igbokwe, born on the 17th of February 1995, has emerged the winner of the 2018 edition of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show tagged ‘Double Wahala’ after almost three months of drama, intrigue, betrayal and entertainment in the house.

The new made-in-Nigeria star who attended the International Aviation College (IAC) and the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria now succeeds Delta State born rapper Efe Ejeba, who won the last edition of the show.

According to the host of the show Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the overall votes recorded for this year’s edition amounted to 170 million; he also revealed that 30 million votes were recorded in the final episode of the reality TV show meaning the organisers raked-in no less than N5.1billion in profit (@170millionxN30 per vote).

The high octane grand finale anchored by Ebuka and Bisola who emerged the second runner-up of the last edition of the reality TV show, also witnessed performances from artistes like Mr Real, Daice Ailes and Davido who performed two of his hit songs ‘Like That’ and ‘Fall’.

Nina was the first of the last five housemates to be evicted during the final episode of the show followed by Alex and Tobi leaving Miracle and Cee-C as the last two finalist of the show to slug it out for the grand prize which was eventually won by Miracle.

By emerging the winner of this year’s edition, Miracle won for himself the sum of N25 million, a brand-new SUV worth N12 million among other mouth-watering prizes.
