Beauty & style services now a click away with launch of GlamCliq App

The fashion, beauty and style industry received a fresh verve of some sort with the launch of the GlamCliq application which serves as a portal where customers can connect with beauty and style service providers.

The multiple-device support app which is viewed in some quarters as a convergence for fashionistas is mainly set up to satisfy the yearnings of customers and also enables users on the platform to find style and beauty service providers within their area.

The app which is available on both Android, IOS and Google Play Store also allows customers to livechat with service providers, book and schedule appointments, and make payments online or with cash.

According to the Chairman/Founder of GlamCliq Ambassador Elajoe, the beauty service mobile app platform was developed by in-house technology experts.

He also revealed that the app which is free to log into, however subjects customers to certain fees charged by service providers once they are set up on the platform on demand.

Elajoe also stated that the app has gone through a series of trials to test its strength, weakness, opportunities and threats it may pose while in use before its official launch.

Speaking more about the unique features of the app, Adelola Adekunmi, Chief Operation Officer and Head of Content Creation for GlamCliq says customers can also track the time spent on their work on the platform.

She said customers can chat with beauty service providers like make-up artists, hair stylists, fashion stylists, bead makers on the platform and get instant feedback on cost of any service and possible time-line on service delivery.

Adelola said; “To access the GlamCliq platform, one needs to go to the Google Play Store or IOS to log into the app and register as a service provider or customer.

“To qualify as a service provider, interested applicants will have to send us an email stating intent and we’ll do a proper screening before we set up on the app.

“Once you are set up on the app, the service provider will have a dedicated admin and privileges like posting company profile picture, thereby changing the way people view your business on the platform.

“GlamCliq App allows consumers view the profile of vendors on the platform. The vendor also uses the opportunity to display their services for a fee.

“Vendors on the platform can also use the opportunity provided by the app to display or upload any available professional qualification such that customers can view the competence of the vendor,” she added.
