BIAFRA: Fani-Kayode, Kate Henshaw mend fences

Fiery former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode and Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw seem to have mended fences, after both got on the wrong side of each other.

Fani-Kayode tendered an apology to Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw after he mistakenly credited a Biafra statement made by a certain ‘Ken Henshaw’ to her in an article he wrote.

In his apology Fani Kayode said it has been drawn to his attention that the statement was not made by Kate Henshaw but rather it was Ken Henshaw that made the comments about Biafra.

“My attention has been drawn to the fact that it was not Kate Henshaw but rather Ken Henshaw that made the comments about Biafra. What was all over Facebook yesterday was Kate Henshaw Nutall hence the error.

“I made the point in the essay that since she had not denied it was her I assumed that she wrote it. Now she has denied it I shall amend the essay accordingly and resend it. I regret the error,” he posted on Twitter.

Moments after the article was published Kate took to Twitter blasting the Former Aviation Minister when she wrote; “@realFFK I hear that your good self is writing a rejoinder to an article on Biafra credited to me. I am disappointed indeed!

“You at least know me even if by recognition and also know people who know me. Ken Henshaw is NOT Kate Henshaw.!!!! At the very least sir, you should verify before writing emails and spreading it round,” she tweeted

The actress has however accepted the apology tendered by Fani Kayode while also thanking him for doing the right thing.

“It takes a real man to say I apologise for my error. I apologise too for my harsh words. Thanks for the call @realFFK God bless,” Kate later posted on the social media platform.
