BIAFRA: IPOB to seek justice for Kanu at ECOWAS court
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has resolved to take the case of its leader Mr Nnamdi Kanu, to the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) court.
The group while decrying the continued detention of their leader and director of Radio Biafra without trial said it will now seek justice at the ECOWAS court, since the Nigeria judiciary cannot deliver good judgment in the matter concerning his illegal detention.
IPOB Media and Publicity Secretary, Mr Emma Powerful, in a statement alleged that “the withdrawal of the trial Judge, Justice John Tsoho is also another application of delay tactics to pave way for the continued detention of Mr Kanu and not only because he wanted to save his face from shame.”
He added that “the judge is still working with the Federal Government to convict Mr Kanu by all means”.
