Biafra agitators allege plot to kill Nnamdi Kanu

The detained Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, will have to wait till Friday to know if temporary freedom will come his way, as a Federal High Court, sitting in Abuja, Monday adjourned till Friday to rule on his bail application.

Kanu is standing trial on charges of treason brought against him by the Federal Government.

At the resumed sitting of Kanu’ trial, Justice James Tsoho said he would rule on the bail application after listening to submissions by both the prosecution and defence counsels.

It would be recalled that Justice Tsoho had on January 20 othered that Kanu be remanded in Kuje prison despite pleas by the prosecution that he remained in the custody of the Department of State Servuces, DSS.
