Biafra: Kanu’s family accuses int’l media of bias against Biafra

Published

The family members of the detained leader of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Okwu Kanu have accused some international media organisations, including the CNN and BBC of being biased concerning the struggle for Biafra and the continued detention Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The family in a statement issued by Emmanuel Okwu Kanu yesterday and obtained by the Authority in Onitsha noted that it is most unfortunate that CNN, BBC and other international media companies that are supposed to be resolute in educating the people of the world on the truth, turned their back on the truth.

Kanu alleged that the CNN and BBC were paid by the Obama government and British government not to talk on the news concerning Biafra struggle and Nnamdi Kanu’s detention, noting that Aljazera was a bit fair on the news of Biafra and for the release of his brother, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who has been detained for over one year and some more months.
