Big wins for Chelsea, Spurs as unbeaten Leicester lose at Old Trafford

The English Premier League saw a lot of goals on Saturday afternoon, with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur sharing nine goals in their respective games.

Chelsea, playing away to Wolverhampton Wanderers, put up a superb performance and were 4-0 up 30 minutes to time before their hosts tried to fight back with two late goals.

Tammy Abraham scored a hat-trick after Tomori opened the scoring for the Blues, but Abraham later scored an own goal to give hope to Wolves.

Patrick Cutrone added a second for the hosts before Mason Mount sealed thr 5-2 victory for Chelsea in the final minute.

Not a good outing for Wolves, who are yet to secure a league win since the beginning of this season.

Elsewhere, Spurs thrashed visiting Crystal Palace 4-0 in what appeared a one-sided game in London.

A brace by Son Heung-Min and an own goal by van Aanholt put the hosts in command, before a late Erik Lamela goal completed the rout for Mauricio Pochettino side.

At Old Trafford, Marcus Rashford scored a first-half penalty as Manchester United claimed only their second win of the season to end Leicester’s unbeaten start.

The England striker was fouled by Caglar Soyuncu before sending Kasper Schmeichel the wrong way from the subsequent spot kick.

Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi was on for the entire playing time, while his compatriot Kelechi Iheanacho was missing in the game.

In the other Premier League games played concurrently, Sheffield United lost 0-1 to Southampton while Brighton were held to a 1-1 draw by Burnley.

Leon Balogun was neither on the bench nor on the starting lineup for Brighton.
