Blogger claims popular author Bayo Adebowale raped of his 5 daughters

Tongues have been sent wagging after journalist and blogger Olufemi Gorman revealed how popular author, poet and novelist, Bayo Adebowale allegedly raped his five daughters.

Gorman shared screenshots of chats between him and one of Bayo’s daughter who narrated how the abuse happened while she and her sisters were young.

According to the daughter of the founder of the African Heritage Library and Cultural Centre who chose to be anonymous, her father allegedly raped all his five daughters multiple times and impregnated them, such that four of the daughters had at least 3 abortions each.

Bayo’s daughter also allegedly shockingly revealed that their mother allegedly told them to keep it a secret when she was informed about her husband’s incestuous behaviour.

She also suggested in the chat that the rape incidents might have been for diabolical purposes as all four of her sisters are widows and all of them have also lost three kids each.

Bayo’s daughter also said her father tried to discourage her from marrying her husband.

She wrote in the chat; “He would remove the bulb in my room and sellotape my mouth…I was only 15. I am yet to heal completely.

“He raped all my sisters, they became pregnant, they aborted thrice each. I was the only one who never got pregnant, he called me Ogbanje.”
