BOI GM appointed acting MD of NERFUND

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointed of Dr. Ezekiel Oseni as the acting Managing Director of the National Economic Reconstruction Fund, NERFUND.

Oseni’s appointment was disclosed in letter by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Mr Mahmoud Isa-Dutse, on Wednesday.

Before his appointment, Oseni was the General Manager and Chief risk manager at the Bank of Industry, BOI.

According to the letter, Oseni’s appointment was made under a management agreement between the Federal Ministry of Finance and the BOI.

The appointment takes immediate effect.

Isa-Dutse further said Oseni’s mandate, amongst others, is to reposition NERFUND and clear all outstanding indebtedness.
