Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the release of kidnapped Nigerian soldiers held captive in Boko Haram den by Chadian troops.

The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in a post on his Twitter page on Sunday expressed regrets that Chadian troops who destroyed the sect’s bases, killed several insurgents and recovered hundreds of weapons, had to release Nigerian soldiers.

“They also seized many dangerous weapons from Boko Haram. I pity Nigeria. Can you imagine that it took the efforts of the Chadian Army to free our boys? O Lord, where art thou?

The release of the Nigerian soldiers also followed the killing of 100 Boko Haram members in Magumeri, a local government area in the northern part of Borno State.
