Boko Haram vows to Capture President Buhari in new video

Dreaded Islamic sect, Boko Haram, has threatened to capture President Muhammadu Buhari.

The terrorist group made the threat in a new video, allegedly shot during Eid El-Kabir prayers on Monday.

The video, narrated in Hausa, was reportedly shot in a location in Borno State, where the sect has its base, showing suspected terrorists praying on what the narrator said is an Eid ground on Sallah day Monday.

Posted on YouTube, the group said they were using the video to send out a strong message that they remain a strong force.

Though factional leader of the sect, Shekau did not appear in the video, the narrator said he was being represented by his unnamed deputy at the Eid prayers, vowing that the group would continue with its jihad against the Nigerian government.

The group said in the video: “This is our eid prayer from us and by the support of our leader Imam Abubakar Al-Shekau. We are extending our greetings to our people and fighters.

“Message to the infidels and the leader of the entire infidels (kafir) who is the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, that he should know we are very strong and doing very good.

“By the will of Allah under the leadership of our leader (Shekau) will capture Buhari with our hands,” the group said.
