Bolt wins gold, sets record at Rio

Usaid Bolt of Jamaica set a new record as he coasted home ahead of the pack in 9.81 seconds to win the gold medal in the 100m race in Rio, Brazil on Sunday.

It makes him the only individual to have won A gold medal in the 100m category in three consecutive Olympic events; 2016 Rio Olympics, Beijing in 2008 and London in 2012.

Justin Gatlin of USA won the silver with 9.89 seconds, while Canada’s Andre De Grasse won the bronze with 9.91 seconds.
