Boniface on bench, Tella features as Leverkusen, Bayern play goalless
Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface was on bench for Bayer Leverkusen in their goalless draw with Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich on Saturday night.
His Nigerian teammate, Nathan Tella was in action for up to 85 minutes, as Leverkusen tried failed to find a winner.
Both sides had drawn the reverse fixture in Munich last September, and they did it again.

Defending champions Bayer Leverkusen were unable to narrow the gap at the top, as Bayern maintain an eight-point lead in the German topflight.
Having already qualified for the Champions League last 16, Leverkusen looked the fresher of the two sides, but lacked a clinical edge.
Vincent Kompany’s Bayern, meanwhile, will have to turn their attention back to the Champions League play-offs as they take a 2-1 lead from the first leg against Celtic into the return fixture.
