Edo guber: PDP says shift APC’s plot to truncate poll
The Osun state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has called on Nigerians, especially residents of Osun State to brace up for the challenges ahead of the nation because of the lack of capacity by the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to the party, the APC, both at the federal and state level, has shown that it does not have capacity to manage the economy of the country and such, the immediate future remains bleak for Nigerians.
This was stated by the state chairman of the Party, Hon. Soji Adagunodo, while speaking with newsmen in Osogbo, the state capital.
According to Adagunodo, the last one year of the administration of the APC government has seen the fortune of the nation nosedive beyond comprehension, insisting that Nigerians are suffering untold hardship because the government in power lacks solution to the current economic crisis.
“The administration of President Muhammdu Buhari has been busy chasing shadows and engaging in passing the buck and blaming others when it was expected to roll up the sleeves and work for the welfare of Nigerians.
“For the APC government, every other person is wrong and worthy of blame except it. But what they failed to understand is that they are not in government to look for faults but provide for solution”, Adagunodo said.
The PDP party boss however called on the national leadership of the party intensify work on the on-going reconciliation if it must provide a credible alternative for the people.
He however insisted that there is no crisis in PDP but a conflict of interest, and since politics is about interest, such disagreements are part of the game.
Adagunode also insisted that the crisis in the at the national level of the party does not affect the mandate given him and his executive at the state level since their election is a product of a credible congress conducted by the national Secretariat and supervised by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
He called on members of the party to put aside every form of animosity and allow peace to reign in the party.
