Buhari boots out service chiefs

President Muhammadu Buhari has relieved the service chiefs of their appointments. This came to live on Monday, though analysts had long predicted that it would happen sooner or later.

Some alleged that they had been compromised and became partisan during the last general elections, while others felt their undoing was their inability to curb the Boko Haram menace in the north east part of the country.
