President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday appointed Mohammad Nami as the new Chairman of Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).
He replaced Babatunde Fowler whose tenure ends on Monday.
Fowler, according to a statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, has been directed to hand over to the most senior director on the FIRS board.
The President also approved the composition of a new board for FIRS subject to the Senate confirmation.
