Confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Nigeria have risen to 89 with eight new cases reported on Saturday.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said of the eight new cases, Lagos had seven while Benue had one.

In a tweet on its verified Twitter handle —@NCDCgov, the centre said:

“As at 04:00 pm 28th March there are 89 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 1 death.

Enugu- 2
