BREAKING: Nigeria records 195 new COVID-19 cases, pushing total over the 3,000 mark to 3145

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Wednesday night confirmed 195 new COVID-19 cases in the country.

The new figure, according to the NCDC report released via its Twitter handle, increased the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 3,145.

Also, the pandemic death toll has now reached 103.

Meanwhile, 534 persons have been effectively managed and discharged from the isolation facilities across the country.

The breakdown of the latest figure on a state-by-state basis showed the following: Lagos (82), Kano (30), Zamfara (19), Sokoto (18), Borno (10), FCT (9), Oyo (8) and Kebbi (5).

Others are – Gombe (5), Ogun (4), Katsina (3), Kaduna (1) and Adamawa (1).

The NCDC said: “3,145 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria.

“Discharged: 534 AND Deaths: 103.”
