Ondo youths block Gov Akeredolu’s office in protest

Some youths in Ondo State on Monday morning blocked the entrance into the Ondo State governor’s office in a bid to register their protest.

The youths who are from Ilaje Local Government Area of the state alleged that the governor has been diverting the funds meant to develop their area.

As at the time of filing this report, the youths mounted human barricade at two gates of the governor’s office at Alagbaka GRA of the state capital.

They prevented workers of the governor’s office from gaining access into the complex, saying they will not allow staff of the governor’s office to gain entrance into the premises if the governor fails to address them.

Meanwhile, operatives of police were noticed at the scene trying to cal down the protesters.
