As President Muhammadu Buhari continues his leave in the United Kingdom, the President of the Senate Bukola Saraki and the House of Representatives Speaker, Yakubu Dogara, have between Monday and Thursday visited acting President Yemi Osinbajo more than once.

The visit to the Presidential Villa on Thursday by Saraki is the second time this week he was meeting with Osinbajo.

He was at the Villa in the company of Dogara, whose Thursday visit to the Villa is reportedly his third this week.

The Speaker had first visited on Monday with Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, the Progressives Governors Forum chairman. He and the Senate President had also visited the Villa on Tuesday.

Saraki had told newsmen after the Tuesday visit that he was at the Vila in relation to the 2017 budget defense.

The purpose for the Thursday visit is still not clear as at the time of filing this story.

Osinbajo has been on acting capacity as President since Buhari traveled to UK on January 19 for a 10-day vacation, during which period the Presidency said he will attend routine medical checks.
