Buhari in closed door meeting with CJN Onnoghen
President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday met with the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen at the State House, Abuja.
The meeting was held behind closed doors, and neither party was willing to disclose the issues discussed.
There are speculations however that the president may have called on the CJN over recent cases lost by the federal government in the courts in its anti-corruption war.

Recently the anti-graft war has suffered a string of losses, as the courts have either set loose those accused of fraudulent practices by government, or unfrozen the accounts of those who government alleged had proceeds of fraud deposited in their bank accounts.
Following the developments, government had also recently summoned the heads of anti-graft bodies, and prosecuting agencies to the State House, also for a meeting.
The issues discussed, or outcome of that meeting was also not made public.
