Buhari in closed door meeting with Saraki, Dogara

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday returned from his hometown in Daura, Katsina State, to enter into a closed-door meeting with President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The President had traveled to his state to participate in the All Progressives Congress (APC) nationwide ward congresses held last Saturday.

Although the agenda of the meeting which started soon after Buhari returned to Abuja were not made public, there are speculations that it may not be unconnected with the moves by the National Assembly to impeach the president, issues of persistent killings by herdsmen and bandits in parts of the country and the crisis that marred the APC nationwide ward congresses in many states.
